Following the release of his latest single ‘Pray For Rain’, German DJ & producer MOGUAI has revealed the accompanying remixes. Out now via Tonspiel/Warner, MOGUAI has enlisted a range of underground talent including Faul & Wad, Muzzaik, Oliver Moldan, Cotone and Sina Klaizer to rework his single.
Dubbed as his personal masterpiece, ‘Pray For Rain’ has amassed over 300,000 Spotify streams and the accompanying music video has received over 150,000 YouTube views within the first few days.
Parisian duo Faul & Wad’s rework is laden with bouncy horns. Whereas Hungarian duo Muzzaik’s remix is filled with punchy piano chords and club beats, surrounding the original vocal. Oliver Moldan’s remix includes a small rhythmic breakdown of the track before resuming to mesmeric beats and soft piano chords – mirroring the original track’s twinkling synth melody. Rising producer Cotone includes warped synth patterns and a bouncing bassline in his remix. Finally, Sina Klaizer’s rendition of ‘Pray For Rain’ includes sharp percussive elements to bow out the remix package.
