Doc Martin, Joeski, JTJ - Presence in The Air EP (Lapsus Music)

Doc Martin is a bona fide legend so to have him real on your label lis a real coup. And that's just what Lapsus Music have done here, with the US great working with two different producers to turn out two killer cuts, one of which gets remixed by label bosses Supernova.

Presence In The Air is a bristling and brimming track with clipped vocals, shooting lasers and great drum programming that will get you on your toes. It builds to a nice peak that will bring the whole club together. Let The Music Play then gets dirty, with rumbling bass down low setting a menacing mood. The drum hits are fresh and clean and the whole thing builds the pressure to take you on a real trip. Last of all, the Supernova remix is filled with classic vibes. The organ bassline, the steamy vocals, the chattery percussion and big stabs – its an anthem in the making that might actually be the biggest tune on this fine EP.
