Prezioso Teams Up With Laurell For Euphoric Summer Anthem “Havana”

Italian stalwart Preziosio has an unrivalled discography of world-class hits to his name, dating back to the late 90’s. Embarking on his latest venture into the world of pop/dance crossovers, Prezioso teams up with esteemed producer and vocalist Laurell for their highly-anticipated summer anthem “Havana”. Set to follow in the footsteps of Prezioso’s massive collaboration with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and R3hab on “Shooting Darts” earlier this year, “Havana” is a radio-worthy record that will no doubt serve as a staple for summer playlists. “Havana” is out now across all streaming platforms via Universal Music.

Taking inspiration from the timeless classic, “Tom’s Diner” by Suzanne Vega and DNA, the track opens with its iconic melodic refrain; a catchy top-line that serves as the track’s founding influence. Laurell’s effortless vocal offering brings the melody into a hyper-charged and contemporary setting, rife with energy and a feel-good spirit from start to finish. Across its almost 3-minute run-time, we’re graced with a crisp layer of percussion above a dance-inducing bass sequence, courtesy of the production maestro, Prezioso. Boasting an undeniable groove throughout, the upbeat cut is a sure-fire hit for both radio and mainstages alike, and will no doubt get bodies moving on the dancefloor. A playful summer anthem, “Havana” gives yet further insight into Prezioso’s immensely versatile production talents, as well as his abilities to maintain relevance in our ever-evolving world of music.
Italian DJ/producer Giorgio Prezioso is an undeniable talent within the dance music scene. Existing at the forefront of the industry since the 90s, Giorgio has made a name for himself as a skilled turntablist, winning many-a DJing competition and making waves across the international event and festival circuit. With a back-catalogue of releases larger than most, Prezioso has been responsible for producing some of the industry’s cardinal cuts, including his 2009 edit of the 80’s hit “The Riddle”, as well as the popular 00’s dance-pop anthems, “Tell Me Why” and “Let me Stay. His single “Thunder”, in collaboration with Gabry Ponte and Lum!x reached 262 Million streams on Spotify and was certified Gold in the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, and Norway, as well as Platinum in Italy and Sweden.
Earlier this year, Prezioso linked up with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and R3hab for their record “Shooting Darts”, which has already been included in 21 New Music Friday playlists and reached more than 8,7 million hits.
