Proper Heat are an exquisite alliance of three musicians deeply mad about jazz, house, disco and electronics. Karolis Ramoška, Martin Virgin & Saxtone. Here they are joined by drummer Stepan Bitus and guitar player Lukas Zinkevicius. “For The Love” shows off the smooth voice of Karolis, the sophisticated musicality and studio / electronic wizardry of Martin & Saxtone. A package greater than the sum of the parts, if there ever was one. Stylish adult-disco-pop for the Nang generation.
To balance things up, we keep one foot firmly on the dancefloor. We include a remix from our favourite Parisian dance-groovers Venice Beach. Floor time all the way. To round things off and give us a sly peek to the future album, the melodic “Open Up” rounds off the EP.
