No tricks, only treats this Halloween with the release of the first Psycho Killerscompilation- a new series from Atlanta-based Psycho Disco! records. Fear not though, as there are no cheesy spooky rip-offs or songs better suited for a scary movie – just seven ‘killer’ House tracks from seven new artists to the label.
Chick Iverson’s “Maniac” hops, skips, and wobbles, E.R.N.E.S.T.O’s “Girls In The Booth” drops into a crazy Justin Martin-esque bassline, and Gasmic’s “Beat The Devil” fills the room with high-impact energy. For a classic electro-based female vocal, MKJAY’s “Your Tits” perfectly fits the bill, and Neon Steve's “At Night” follows suit with a fresh electro-house ripper. Steve Darko(formerly Darko) keeps things funkier on “Wreck Yourself” and Alex Twitchy & Faruk Orakci close things out with a tech house burner on “Tell Me." All in all, Psycho Disco! brings together some of the freshest producer faces on an Electro and Tech House compilation ready to pump through speakers from the club to the car, from Atlanta to Australia
