One of the biggest party brands on the planet, Pukka Up, has launched its all new official radio show ‘Pukka Up Global Radio’, which, as a podcast from iTunes (and worldwide radio stations to follow) will every month, deliver the most current club tunes rocking dancefloors across the world; cuts from Pukka Up Records; all the latest exploits from Pukka Up’s base in Ibiza, plus big name guest mixes and interviews, kick starting with a session from the brilliant Tom Novy.
The positive announcements from the Pukka Up camp this year just keep on coming! To recap, the goodtime party brand launched a third day of boat parties in Ibiza now sailing every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; a ‘Going Global’ residency at Pacha Ibiza held every Wednesday; its own clothing line in collaboration with Your Own Clothing; a brand new series of ‘Pukka Up Med’ boat parties in association with 2wentys in seven European destinations including Bulgaria and Crete; the launch of a free Wi-Fi network that spans the whole of San Antonio; a one off ‘Pukka Up AWOL’ party on Radio 1 Weekend with Scott Mills; plus a mega DJ competition in association with Mixmag and UDG. But all that wasn’t enough to be counted as world domination, and so a Pukka Up radio show just had to be added!
Presented by long-time resident DJ and Pukka Up Record Label Boss, Mark Robinson, episode one of Pukka Up Global Radio features an interview and guest mix with Pukka Up guest DJ Tom Novy who will join Pukka Up at Sugar Club in Parnu, Estonia on Saturday 28 June, plus a series of regular features. These include the Deep Down & Pukka Up Track, and the Pukka Up Big One, which this month features the killer cut from Oliver Helden ‘Gecko’ in its newly titled guise of ‘Overdrive’ featuring the brilliant vocals from Becky Hill.
Other regular features include the Pukka Up Records Takeover which showcases three tunes from Pukka Up Records. This month Mark Robinson plays the world exclusive of the ‘Tripoli’ Vocal Mix by Double Cream, retitled to ‘I’ll Find You’ featuring hot young Aussie vocalist Jay Jacob; the False Face Remix of Pioneers of Sound feat Basement Jaxx Vocalist Corina Joseph; plus the Pukka Up debut from new label signing, London DJ Manda Dex with ‘Invincible’.
For remix fans, the show features a classic track that has been given the re-rub treatment for 2014, this month featuring Pukka Up signing 3BIRD with their take on Tiësto’s ‘Lethal Industry’, due for official release on the mighty Black Hole Records later this Summer.
Pukka Up Global Radio also features a track each month chosen by one of its international residents, this month with a tune from Pukka Up Australia resident Social Hooliganz, alongside news and updates of where to find a Pukka Up party near you.
With big names DJs, in-house producers and big tunes galore, this show is for club music lovers everywhere. Subscribe to the podcast via iTunes now https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/pukka-up-global-radio-mark/id885212744
