Brazilian duo Future Lab make their debut on Swerve Digital with a 2 track EP that includes a remix from Hoten.
The EP kicks off with Purple Hauze, which builds via futuristic riffs and a heavy bassline. This track has a spacey, cosmic vibe alongside its rolling dark basslines, while moving into the second section of the track, the vocals begin to escalate with the disjointed catchy vocal samples, bringing more of a swing to the vibe and flow of the track.
Moving into the remix from Hoten of Purple Hauze, bringing a more uplifting energy to this track. The layers of cowbells and vocals hone into the sunsets of the Balearics taking you on a different journey from the original. With more subtle builds and drops, this track has a rolling rhythm throughout with minimalistic surprises.
Continuing with the stabby basslines, Make My Body Move embodies its title, instantly flowing through your eardrums wanting your body to move. With a long build to its punchy drop and choppy repetitive vocals, this track is a guaranteed dancefloor pleaser.
