Pyrocight’s debut release drops this autumn on DFTD, a three-track EP of deep, dark house beats. ‘Elementary’ is intricate with a malleable tribal undertone that binds to the familiar tech house rhythmic kick and snare. With the addition of jagged synths, and a floating soulful vocal, this track is carefully constructed, with all parts working seamlessly in unison. ‘Bring It Back’ melds elements of electro, tech and deep house, while ‘Give Me Some’, with its rich techno thumping beat and rapid-fire claps, has an old school house vibe. It’s minimalistic, yet beautifully layered, with an echoing melody and choppy vocal that drifts in and out of the mix, slicing through the heavy bass and beat.
