Following on from his debut EP on Jalapeno last year, Quasamodo (now accompanied by his Q Orchestra) is back with a full single ahead of the release of his album The Big Picture.
Featuring the soulful vocals of album collaborator Thaliah and with Q himself providing the rap, the single is a throwback to classic rap tunes that were more about fun than money and hoes.
Remixes come courtesy of Russian disco stalwart Valique, whose V’s edits series has been ruling Juno for a couple of years and Jalapeno label mate (and sometimes production partner) Basement Freaks. George Basement Freaks shapes the original into a beats heavy breaks version for the dance floor.
