R3hab – Androids

Currently destroying the Beatport charts with his massive single “Samurai (Go Hard),” Dutch house founding father R3hab makes his Dim Mak Records debut with new track “Androids” out now. A big room anthem bound to dominate the 2014 festival season, “Androids” features a pop-leaning melody over a Dutch banger style drop. R3hab’s distinct house/electro sound on “Androids” continues his legacy as an electronic music powerhouse.

“Androids” is the latest in a string of major successes from R3hab, who began working with Dim Mak with “Flight,” a collaboration with label boss Steve Aoki released late last year on Ultra Music. In 2013, R3hab shot up a sharp 15 spots on DJ Mag’s influential Top 100 poll. He also made his debut on BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix this past weekend, where he debuted “Androids.”

R3hab was propelled into stardom in 2012 when he won the Miami Winter Music Conference’s International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) Breakthrough Artist Award with a second IDMA win in 2013 for Best Full Length DJ Mix. This year, R3hab has received two nominations for the IDMAs in the Best European DJ and Best Remixer categories. With performances at Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Beyond Wonderland, and Tomorrowland to name just a few, R3hab can definitely be described as an A-list artist. He has also collaborated with some of the hottest acts around, including official re-works of Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Katy Perry, Madonna and Ellie Goulding to name a few. He has also released music on Calvin Harris’ Fly Eye Records, Tiësto’s Musical Freedom, Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings, Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, and Afrojack’s Wall Recordings to add to his lengthy bow. For your weekly dose of R3hab, tune into his “I NEED R3HAB” weekly radio show on SiriusXM radio networks across the globe and on iTunes.

“Just in time for spring’s festival season, R3hab conjures rave transcendence with the pop-electro steamroller. The tune features a driving melody that can easily be likened to a sonic oxygen shot, R3hab also injects a distinctly Dutch house drop of gargantuan proportions.”
