Rafa Barrios – Daledalehey

On April 20th 2015 one of Spain’s most talented rising DJ/producers, Rafa Barrios, returns to Carl Cox and Jon Rundell’s seminal imprint Intec with his brand new EP entitled ‘Daledalehay’.

This unmissable three-track EP release follows the Spaniard’s well-received 2013 Intec debut called ‘Festivulus’ garnering support from some of the world’s best DJs including Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Kaiserdisco, Reboot and Marco Carola.

Throughout the years, Rafa has had the pleasure of performing at internationally renowned festivals, clubs and events like BPM Festival (Playa Del Carmen), WMC (Miami), Space (Miami), Pacha (NYC), Cielo (NYC) and the opportunity of working in the studio alongside the likes of Chus&Ceballos,  Christian Smith, David Penn and Doomwork to name a few.

The EP’s title track ‘Daledalehay’ get us off to a rip-roaring start and sets to tone for the release encompassing a beefy tribalesque groove, a twisted vocal loop and a unique bell chime sample.

‘Neon’ is next up and takes things onto another level featuring a demonised vocal snippet, scatty percussion loops and immensely powerful low-end frequencies which will simply cause mayhem on the dancefloor – this is a pure belter of a track!

‘Suricato’ completes the package and yet again cranks things up another notch offering an abundance of bangin’ 909-esque drums, a deep moody bassline and a series of intriguing and effected synth stabs.

All in all, this EP is another fine example of the superb standard of releases Intec has been delivering over the years thus making it another great addition to your collection. ‘Daledalehay’ EP is available exclusively via Beatport from April 20th and the rest of the world two weeks later.
