Raumakustik - Raumakustik – Don’t Stop

On the back of the international success of underground anthem ‘Raider’ on Hot Creation’s Hottrax sub-division – Raumakustik return to form with their Suara Debut ‘Cat Tales EP’. On the back of four weeks sitting on top of the Beatport Tech House Chart – the duo from Dresden kick off their summer campaign with a slamming three-tracker fronted by ‘Don’t Stop’. Already getting hammered around the world by the likes of andhim, Mark Knight, Booka Shade, Technasia, Monika Kruse, Adam Beyer, Reboot, Noir, Carlo Lio, Dusky, Claptone and YOUSEF – the duo reaffirm their Midas touch with another solid gold EP.

Blurring the lines between Deep and Tech House and Techno – Raumakustik once again hit the sweet spot with ‘Don’t Stop’ – a wonky, percussive and ultimately dance floor focused workout that’s already sending pulses through crowds worldwide via some of the most selective spinners around. The tight and lively groove manages the rhythm department with precision – slipped around the thudding kick line and offbeat hats. The unstable percussive elements are as unpredictable as they are mesmerizing and when the filtered down, sucking and hazardous lead pulses through like a warning siren – there’s a moment of chaos on the disjointed breakdown crescendo before the sub bass reclaims the spotlight for the main body of the drops. It’s another classy production that’s totally refined with the big and dark main room in mind. Backed up by ‘Beat Street’ and ‘Think About’ – the EP is a package that’ll surely be getting heavy rotations around the world for some while.

Coyu’s Suara imprint has gone from strength to strength under the Spanish legend and with a collective of the world’s House and Techno elite on their books including Dosem, Edu Imbernon, Gary Beck, Jay Lumen, Ramiro Lopez, Technasia or Tube & Berger, often backed by stellar remixers like Adam Beyer, Paco Osuna, Rodriguez Jr, Gregor Tresher, Slam and many more – the imprint has secured its place as a home for only the finest electronic music talents in the world.
