Sidney Charles hails from Hamburg, but rather than the deep house the city is known for, he goes for a more meaty and rave sound. He proves that here with four jams for Moon Harbour that are sure to kick start any party. One of them features Hector Morales and all in all they prove why the demand for this guy is what it is.
First out of the blocks is 'Good Times' with Hector Morales. It's built on rock solid, rib rattling kicks with thunderous claps overlaid. There is a dark energy to the tune that eventually breaks with a killer vocal and takes you right to the heart of the party. The title track is another physical jack track with heavyweight kicks slamming away down low as explosive symbols and razor sharp hi hats cut up the groove.
'Gone' then offers a more emotive sound with vocals from a soul infused diva bringing the heat. Last of all, 'On and On' is a busy, bustling number that has wonky bass line with cut up vocals. The drums are punchy and get you sweating as you march to their groove. This is hardcore house that with slay the club without doubt.
