Re.You Teams up with Dorian Craft for ‘Magic Carpet’

Berlin-based DJ, producer and LSF21+ label head Re.You has been a beacon of the underground house music circuit for over a decade now; laying claim to a consistent stream of stand-out records on some of the industry’s most prominent labels. With each passing opus, he continues to raise the bar with his creative artistry and, as such, has amassed a huge catalogue of hit records on the likes of Kompakt, Cocoon, mobilee, MoBlack, Moon Harbour, SCI+TEC, Ritter Butzke and ULU, to name a few. Now, as the German talent looks to open his 2024 tally in style, Re.You lands on AZZUR Music for the very first time with his eagerly awaited label debut ‘Magic Carpet’.

Out now via the long-standing, Marseilles-based imprint, ‘Magic Carpet’ sees Re.You join forces with established French producer Dorian Craft (Frau Blau, Diversions, MoBlack, RADIANT. and more) for a stunning debut collaboration that dazzles from the off. A blissful Afro House cut replete with infectious chord progressions and soaring synth pads, this latest addition to the two artists’ discographies is another showcase in timeless electronic music that gives us profound insight into each of the artists’ musical roots. Conducive to euphoric, peak-time moments, the single breeds a dreamy nostalgia for 00’s rave culture; a flair we’ve come to know and love from AZZUR’s ever-impressive output.

Looking ahead to 2024, Re.You is primed for his most fruitful career to date, with remixes in the works for Ontourage and Scorpios, further confirmed releases on his LSF21+ imprint, a huge collaboration with Paul Brenning (alongside a remix from Avangart Tabldot), as well as another full-length studio album penned for the end of the year. As he steps into this next phase of his already star-studded career, he maintains the ethos that has made him one of the most consistent artists of his generation; balance, diversity, fun and great energy. It is this winning combination that will keep him spinning around the world for many years to come.

Dorian Craft is a DJ and producer from Cannes, France. His journey begun in Southern France in 2006 and led him to Paris, where he is currently based. He began DJing at the young age of 16 with a vast knowledge of music well beyond his years. His early start granted him access to the most influential styles of music and has been supported by some of the industry’s most respected tastemakers, including Black Coffee, Behrouz, Chus & Ceballos, Sebastian Leger, Super Flu and more. Progressive, visionary and self-taught he learned everything for his craft on his own; experimenting, absorbing and sharing his art.
