Hotly-tipped Belgian duo Raw District have revealed their latest production, a remix of Mark Jenkyns’ latest single ‘Reach For Me’.
Out now on respected Barcelona-based label Suara, the pair have turned in a subtle, stripped-back yet grooving rework of the thunderous original. It comes with a personal stamp of approval from label boss Coyu, who has been playing the remix out at a number of his high profile gigs.
The remix follows the success of Raw District’s original production ‘From The Inside’, a standout track released on Innervisions and supported by Maceo Plex, Adam Beyer, Dixon, Patrice Baumel and more. Having built a name for themselves amongst their contemporaries, Vernon and Massimo have also previously had releases out on Crosstown Rebels, Moon Harbour and DFTD, and gigs taking in the likes of Tomorrowland, DGTL and Extrema Outdoor.
The pair began the project four years ago to focus on the darker, more ‘raw’ side of electronic music; their ‘Reach For Me’ remix demonstrates this ethos perfectly.
