We proudly announce the one year anniversary of the outstanding techno label refused. as it accompanies its successful year with a 10 track Various Artists (VA) compilation, titled refused.one. Curator Justin James has put his passion for techno and his absolute support for up-and-coming talent into the refused. imprint. The label has been delivering a consistent flow of incredible talent from around the world each month, since its launch last year in May 2014.
Starting with a very special release from Justin James himself, refused. one starts off with “Who’s Your Friend,” a track from Justin’s EP “Not The Curator” which was refused.’s first ever release. Stiv Hey follows in with his very successful release “Deception” which was released on his EP Breakage. Stiv Hey has since had an uprising in his career traveling the globe alongside SCI+TEC label boss Dubfire. The VA also showcases past releases from refused. artists Loui Fernandez, Nuno Lisba, Nihil Young, A++, Daniel Spanjaard, Dani Sbert, Ante Ujevic, and Chris Rusu.
Proving their efforts successful in shining light on fresh, young talent, refused. is excited to present their next wave of amazing artists, music and production quality to the forefront of today’s thriving techno scene.
