Rennie Foster – Call The Sun

Call The Sun is a raw techno gem by outspoken Canadian DJ and recording artist, Rennie Foster. This is conscious and uplifting release from RF, Rennie’s signature DIY label, and features remixes by underground Chicago House master, Amir Alexander, and Vancouver Bass Music boss, Max Ulis (of Sabota). Just a warning of what is to come on the RF imprint, from the message of empowerment, to the cover art, drawn by Rennie’s late mentor and street artist, Hans Fear (RIP), to the vocal sample in Rennie’s own “Watershed Edit”, recorded on location in Ghana at the Bui Village, before it’s people were displaced by the building of the Dam on the Black Volta river.
