Slime welcomes back house renegades Retrospekt & Platkovsky for their first foray onto the label since they released the incendiary ‘Faded’ EP last year. Having taken their initial steps into world domination over the past twelve months with a string of riotous gigs around the UK and national TV and Radio airtime, the Welsh & Polish duo return with their sophomore effort for the label, ‘We Tight’, which premiered with a world exclusive first play on Kiss FM.
Knowing intimately what works on a packed, sweat-drenched dancefloor, the production duo has distilled all their touring experience into a blistering roughneck house anthem that is designed as heavy weaponry for any discerning DJ needing to turn the heat up on a set. Being described by the pair as ‘Acid G House’, gargantuan bass oscillations are spread liberally over a jacking warehouse groove, completed by some choice vocal samples on the essential nature of house music. Without question this is the kind of track guaranteed to destroy a dancefloor, anywhere, anytime.
On the digital flip, label mates BSN Posse twist the original into a rolling Iberian Juke anthem, full of sunshine chords and stuttering percussion. Rising star Grades delivers the final remix, providing a peak-time monster of a track that will obliterate clubs worldwide.
