20th June sees Intec regular and respected DJ/producer Ramiro Lopez return to Carl Cox and Jon Rundell’s prestigious Intec imprint for his latest EP, entitled ‘Revolution Space’.
This killer two-track offering will be the Spaniard’s fourth release on Intec, following on from the well-received ‘Botannical’ EP earlier this year, as well as ‘Truce’ in 2015 and ‘Backtrip’ in 2014.
The EP’s title track ‘Revolution Space’ is first up – given its name in honour of Carl Cox’s legendary residency at Space Ibiza – and sees Ramiro pick up where he left off, providing a sinister, ominous soundscape of Techno. The track combines the inimitable vocals courtesy of Thomas Gandey with a deep, heavy groove that is broken up by timely drum fills and imposing synth patterns.
Concluding the EP is ‘Defo’, a dark and twisted Techno banger that offers little rest throughout its six-minute duration. An intense, pounding groove comes straight through, supported by haunting vocals and razor-sharp synth work that steals the show.
‘Revolution Space’ is available exclusively via Beatport on June 20th and everywhere else two weeks later.
