We’re all in need of some feel-good house music aren’t we? Well New York DJ and producer Rich Furniss has this in spades. Concocting a blend of classic house music with modern rhythms, Furniss wanted to channel the energy of the gaming world and soundtrack a song that you would hear to reminisce to those times.
His new single ‘GAME ON’ is exactly that, and has a fun-filled and playful manner about it, with up-tempo piano lines and samples that will immediately have your feet moving. You can almost hear it on a retro Sonic the Hedgehog game, and Furniss has executed this notion to a tee. A lot more than that though, ‘Game On’ is a high energy house track that you could also hear being played around all those nightclubs. It lends itself to both entities, and that’s what makes it so great.
