NYC producer Rich Furniss continues his run of success with latest single ‘Desire’, out now on Quincy Boy Records. More tech-leaning than his usual disco-tinged fare, ‘Desire’ is a collab with friends Morsy and Buck and judging by the reactions from global DJ pools, is set to be one of his biggest releases yet.
“The energy between Morsy, Buck and I was just natural when making ‘Desire,'” Furniss said. “I feel like a balance of all of us are in here. Since starting Rich Furniss in Sept. of 2021, I wouldn’t have envisioned things coming so far so quick or to have the support from bigger artists I love on my music. I am pumped about the future!”
Furniss’ consistent output of huge tracks is no doubt the reason behind his rise up the ranks of American house producers. This latest artistic incarnation, less than two years in the making, has already seen him release on imprints House U, In It Together, Quincy Boy, and Global 305. In a previous performing lifetime, stemming back to the 2000s, Furniss has played extensively across North America, including SXSW, Governors Ball, and Miami Music Week, and opened for the likes of Diplo and Rick Ross. More recently, he’s taken over the hottest venues in Chicago, Miami, Dallas, and Austin, and lined up an aggressive release schedule for 2023. Armed with ambition and talent, both in abundance, is 2023 the year Furniss breaks out of America and into the global mainstream?
