Richey - Richey – Call Cali

Lured to the dance floor at an early age, 20-year-old Montreal artist RICHEY was raised on a diet of deep cuts and dark rhythms. Having made his debut via the mighty John Digweed’s ‘Transitions’ Radio Station at the tender age of fifteen under his former moniker, Richie G, this new alias for one of dance music’s already known names has turned down an exciting path. RICHEY’s matured sound of deep underground grooves equally capable of satisfying the most opulent dancefloors. Following up his recent Fix That Sound EP on Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD imprint, RICHEY’s latest project, a sophomore EP entitled Call Cali, is set to be self-released this June 16.

Featuring four tracks of pure musical freedom, RICHEY’s Call Cali EP combines crisp production, sexy, tweaky vocal hooks and energetic, driving yet minimal club music. Awash with summery vibes, this release is well-suited for poolside hangs and late nights out on the town.

While attending university during the day, RICHEY transforms at night, performing with the biggest heavyweights in the music world such as Sasha, Pan-Pot and Coyu as well as working on his musical projects, including his past releases on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records, MOOD, Moda Black and official remixes for Booka Shade, Tiga’s Turbo Recordings and Hot Since 82. For the very first time, RICHEY reveals his lighter side with this forthcoming release – expect to hear a lot more from this talented Montreal-based producer.

RICHEY – Call Cali EP Tracklist:
1. Call Cali
2. Know Want Love
3. Oh Hey Uh
4. Rastafara
5. Haze
