Brooklyn based duo No Regular Play share their EP Right For Another, via Waze & Odyssey's Street Tracks imprint. Out Today, Right For Another is summer-tinged body of work spanning three tracks – ‘Right For Another’, ‘Tell Me’ and ‘Seagulls’ – showcasing undeniably funky basslines, a slick use of vocoder and their signature brass instrumentation. No Regular Play’s ability to create gentle yet energetic vibes through multiple layers of texture shines through on this EP, making it perfect for the club or the couch.
Heavily influenced by hip-hop and jazz legends such as Miles Davis and A Tribe Called Quest, No Regular Play aka Greg Paulus and Nick Debruyn have forged a unique sound, never to be tied to one genre or style. Creating a special blend of different underground styles whilst utilizing their classical training, No Regular Play have put out one solid release after another, on the likes of labels such as No.19 Music, Supplement Facts and HAKT Recordings. They’ve become an integral part of the Wolf + Lamb and Crew Love families, taking their live set all over the world, including festivals such asMovement and Piknic Electronik, and venues such as Fabric and Output.
