After almost 3 decades, the legend that has become urban myth “RIP” returns.
Rewind to the spring of 1988 to a run down deserted warehouse district in London Bridge, to Clink Prison on Clink Street. What was once a prison, a disused warehouse building became the birth of Acid House Culture as we know it. It was here that the RIP parties enchanted an acid generation, bringing about the world’s second summer of love to a soundtrack of a brand new sound. Cutting edge, forward thinking, electronic dance music from Chicago, New York & Detroit. A new culture was born.
Forward to 31st October 2015 & for the first time in more than 2 decades, RIP will rise up from the ashes on Halloween for one night for those special few who still appreciate what this is all about.
