With Robert Hood returning to his minimal techno roots with the release of his ‘Paradygm Shift’ album on Dekmantel this week we unveil his 32 date Summer Tour taking place across Europe. Once again he also teams up with his daughter, Lyric Hood as the father-daughter duo, Floorplan are set to blaze their disco, funk, soul and gospel styled house in between Robert’s tougher techno sets.
Launching their 2017 tour at the RBMA Stage @ Sonar, the Robert Hood / Floorplan shuttle then takes across Europe from festivals such as Dekmantel in Amsterdam, Nature Beat in Italy and Fuse Open Air, Brussels to clubs such as Fabrik, Madrid, HYTE at Amnesia (Ibiza) and Concrete, Paris before ending at Glasgow’s legendary Sub Club on 27 August. All 32 dates are listed below (more tbc).
Robert Hood also unveils his new live set this Saturday (27 May) @ Movement Festival, Detroit whilst on Sunday (28 May) Floorplan DJ at the KMS 30 Anniversary / Official Movement After-Party, Detroit.
Floorplan showcase new and unreleased material in their 2 hour ‘Essential Mix’ for BBC Radio 1. The mix airs this coming weekend on 27 May @ 4am GMT and will then be available for 30 days on the BBC Radio iPlayer.
Robert Hood’s ‘Paradygm Shift’ album is released this week (22 May) on Dekmantel.
