Electronic music innovator Roderic unveils his highly anticipated new album, In Mind, a sonic exploration of emotion, texture, and rhythm, out now via his Dafne Records imprint.
Crafted with 97% analogue and acoustic instrumentation, In Mind showcases Roderic’s dedication to authenticity and organic sound. Each track is a meticulous blend of live-recorded instruments and electronic elements, resulting in a rich, immersive listening experience that bridges the organic and synthetic. Roderic’s innate ability to craft precise, thoughtfully composed sounds with a natural rhythmic flow draws the listener in as the music ebbs and evolves, crafting music that connects with his audience in an emotional and primitive way.
“The initial idea behind ‘In Mind’ was quite different, more conceptual maybe, but the workflow naturally took me to this universe of sound. It’s an evolution of my sonic identity—mature, yet still complex in emotion.” Roderic
As the co-founder of Dafne Records, Mexican DJ and producer Roderic continues to shape his creative vision while fostering a space for artistic integrity. His debut album Perfect Mirror was released in 2016 by Berlin based imprint Katermukke, followed by It All Depends in 2018, a genre-defying LP inspired by a transformative trip to the Dominican Republic. Since then, Roderic has continued to push the boundaries of electronic music, releasing singles, EPs, and remixes on some of the industry’s most influential labels. Returning to the world-renowned Burning Man festival in August 2024, he premiered tracks from his third album during a mesmerising sunrise set on the iconic Mayan Warrior stage. Now, with In Mind, he is ready to unveils his most immersive body of work to date.
