Vudu continue their rebrand with a track caked in old school vibes from the off, with a modern twist of groove and bass to finish. With 10 years of residential experience at Amnesia in his locker, Les Schmitz brings together a decade’s worth of influences to produce a dance-worthy bass record. ‘Rok Da House’ has already been given a huge thumbs-up from Tough Love, Oliver Heldens and My Digital Enemy, and is set to slot in sets all over the world in the near future.
Infectious throughout, the bassline really takes the lead in this one. A rumbling centre-piece that is decorated with flashes of electro samples and stabs of a funky vocal hook. Combining a complementing hybrid of old and new, ‘Rok Da House’ will have you reminiscing of 90s acid house, as well as innovative, contemporary house sounds.
Tried and tested in Ibiza and laced with feel-good vibes that will get you moving – this is an absolute banger from Les Schmitz, as Vudu deliver yet again.
