Step forward, the mighty Ron Trent, this man really needs no introduction. He’s a Need2Soul hero, a force to be reckoned with, and he means serious business! Ron Trent is an extremely talented dj/producer who started his journey very young in his teens, released his first record “Altered States” to much critical acclaim. Collaborated with Hula & Fingers “Jive Records” and merged with “Chez Damier” aka Anthony Pearson to run one of the most influential deep house imprints of all time “Prescription Records” from Chicago. Trent also lived in NYC where he rapidly stood his ground and proved himself a relevant DJ & Producer, securing dates at Shelter and Body and Soul. He hosted his own nights at Vinyl, and secured a residency with Giant Step at Shine. Ron has collaborated with Jody Watley, Carl Hancock Rux, Anastacia to name a few. And not forgetting recent project S.A.T. with Ibadan records honcho, Jerome Sydenham and newcomer AYBEE.
