Ron Trent headlines Plan B for Need2Soul celebration

It’s their fourth party this year and already Need2Soul have served up top quality events with bookings featuring Joe Claussell, Ron Trent, Jerome Sydenham, to AYBEE, Phil Asher, Point G and Glenn Underground, Boo Williams, and Omar.  All respected heavyweight DJs, Producers and singers from the US and the UK.   So how does one raise the bar after such incredible sessions?   Step forward, the mighty Ron Trent, this man really needs no introduction.  He’s a Need2Soul hero, a force to be reckoned with, and he means serious business!  Showcasing the best deep house old and new for 8 hours long.   We guarantee the musos will be close, and the dancers grooving hard from start to finish.

Ron Trent is an extremely talented dj/producer who started his journey very young in his teens, released his first record “Altered States” to much critical acclaim.  Collaborated with Hula & Fingers “Jive Records” and merged with “Chez Damier” aka Anthony Pearson to run one of the most influential deep house imprints of all time “Prescription Records” from Chicago.    Trent also lived in NYC where he rapidly stood his ground and proved himself a relevant DJ & Producer, securing dates at Shelter and Body and Soul.  He hosted his own nights at Vinyl, and secured a residency with Giant Step at Shine.   Ron has collaborated with Jody Watley, Carl Hancock Rux, Anastacia to name a few. And not forgetting recent project S.A.T. with Ibadan records honcho,  Jerome Sydenham and newcomer AYBEE.

With approximately 70 releases featuring albums, singles, eps, comps & mixes for the likes of Peacefrog, Giant Step, Discriptive, Future Vision, Cajul, R2 and Need2Soul Records. This luminary doesn’t look like he is slowing down  any time soon…

Mr Trent takes time out of his busy schedule to headline Need2Soul 4th party of the year, one intimate gathering not to be missed, but don’t take our word for it, witness his skills at the Need2Soul Boiler room session filmed live earlier this year:

Early bird tickets available now but not for long.  See you on the dance floor troops.
