Rory Lyons – Piss Take Number 2

Hot off the back of his first Phonetic release ‘Addiction & Wookie’, we are excited to present the brand new single from one of our favourite producers Rory Lyons.

Rory Lyons has been tearing up dance floors at the likes of Chibuku, Wax On, Metropolis and The Warehouse Project. On the festival front, he has rocked crowds at Creamfields, Snowbombing, V Festival, SW4, Gatecrasher Sound System and Global Gathering.

His productions have been championed by the likes of Zane Lowe on his Radio 1 Essential Mix from Space Ibiza, Kissy Sell Out, Eddy Temple Morris and Annie Nightingale. His collaboration with Doorly featured on the huge Ibiza Rocks compilation ‘Reclaim the Dance floor’, followed by another monster ‘Move it’ with Hot Pink Delorean, which saw Rory Lyon’s dominate the Beatport top 10 chart for 6 weeks. In the past Rory has worked with Steve Aoki’s DIM MAK, Krafty Kuts and the Drummatic Twins, as well as releasing solo material with the help of the Utah Saints ‘Sugarbeat’ imprint.

We are proud to present his killer new release ‘Piss Take Number 2’. Road tested by our very own Rob Roar in Ibiza to a devastating effect. The package includes some floorshaking remixes showcasing the big underground London sound happening right now. After the success of his ‘Rockerfella’ remix, Phonetic protégé Jay Robinson twists things up a tad with a bass driven monster. Alex Ross gives the release a melodic garage’esque stabby feel with cut up vocals. New Phonetic signing Barber take thing to a whole new level, with a forward facing mix that has already been blowing clubs & festivals away.
