Rresonate Glasgow Announces Exciting Masterclasses, Workshops And Live Music

A new and exciting music industry event for Scotland, RESONATE GLASGOW launches today with an exciting programme of key note speeches, workshops and live music. Set to take place on Thursday 16th November 2017 at the vibrant Barras Art and Design Centre (BAaD), the music event aims to create greater collaboration in Scotland’s thriving creative industry.  
 
Featuring an eclectic mix of masterclasses, panel discussions, breakout workshops, food, drinks and live music, RESONATE GLASGOW’S first home in the brilliant east end art space is the picture perfect setting. A true celebration of all things creative in Glasgow;BAaD features everything from oysters to pizzas to records and beyond which really highlights the creativity, ethos and DIY collaborative spirit of Scotland’s music capital.
 
The inaugural event will feature breakout discussions around women in music, synchronization, A+R, the Scottish infrastructure and keynote speeches from the likes of Dave Ambrose and an appearance from the young Scottish star Be Charlotte. RESONATE GLASGOW will finish with an evening of live music including The Nickajack Men, Mark McGowan and special guest appearances.
 
RESONATE GLASGOW is targeted towards industry professionals from across Scotland and concentrates on innovation, music industry training, collaboration and business development.
 
With a key focus on encouraging collaboration within the industry and nurturing conversation about Scotland’s music scene and infrastructure, RESONATE GLASGOW aims to inform, educate and provide ample opportunity for networking to working artists and business professionals here in Scotland.
 
The conference is highly relevant to artists, artist managers and all those working in the music industry who are looking to learn, network and develop their businesses further.
 
RESONATE GLASGOW 2017 is being curated by 23rd Precinct Music and is currently running in partnership with BPI, Notting Hill Music, Tenement TV, Tileyard Education, BMI, Gorbals Sound, Ticket Tailor, Help Musicians UK and SMIA.
23rd Precinct Music is a long running Glasgow music business operating in music publishing, artist management, booking agency and neighbouring rights services.
