Ruby Francis: A Night of Music and Artistry at BritYard’s Hidden Gem

Ruby’s musical journey commenced with her bass-playing father and music-loving mother, igniting a lifelong passion for her craft. Influenced by a myriad of artists including Chaka Khan, Level 42, Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Pharrell, and Bjork, Ruby began her musical odyssey at the age of 10. Inspired by the smooth vocals and productions of her musical icons, she evolved into a self-taught recording artist. Over the past seven years, Ruby’s musical talent has blossomed, with her debut EP ‘Night Time Therapy’ (2017) and ‘To Be Fair’ (2018) gaining acclaim from BBC Radio and 1Xtra; Ruby’s creativity extends to collaborations and curated playlists. Her latest self-produced album, ‘Archives,’ was crafted in her bedroom, offering a glimpse into Ruby’s musical magic.
