Rudimental - Rudimental – I Will For Love

Last night RUDIMENTAL announced the official next single to be taken from their forthcoming sophomore album WE THE GENERATION – released 18 September through Major Toms/Asylum. Calling in from Ibiza, the band chatted with Radio 1 before the track got its Hottest Record play. I Will For Love features vocals by the incredible Will Heard (who also features on club favourite Rumour Mill) and is set for release on 11 September. Listen here!

Speaking to Annie Mac live from Ibiza last night before their headline show at Ibiza Rocks, Piers from the band commented: “We’ve been working on this album for two years… it’s got a lot of blood sweat and tears! I Will For Love is a really good representation of it.”

As well as this, on Tuesday the band announced their We The Generation World Tour which will make its way around the U.S, Europe, Japan, Australia and of course home turf where they’ll be playing a very special show at Alexandra Palace, London on 15 October. Tickets go on sale tomorrow – Friday 31 July. For full dates please go to www.rudimental.co.uk

Over the last few months Rudimental have been the band of the summer, leaving their mark with headline performances at Glastonbury, Lovebox and their very own Wild Life Festival in Brighton. Not only this but they’ve been introducing new music to fans since the album announcement – their first track Never Let You Go (a huge festival singalong smash), followed by the very cool and classy house track Rumour Mill and more recently reggae-influenced Love Aint Just A Word featuring Anne-Marie and grime legend Dizzee Rascal.

WE THE GENERATION marks a progressive Rudimental, a genre-defying collective that will continue to change the face of dance music not just within the UK music scene but globally. This 14-track album is set to be one of the releases of the year and catapult them into international stardom.
