RÜFÜS DU SOL Release Official ‘Lately’ Remix By Adam Ten & Mita Gami

Grammy-winning live electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL have released an official remix by Israeli producers Adam Ten and Mita Gami of their newest single “Lately” via Rose Avenue/Warner Records.

First previewed during RÜFÜS DU SOL’s pop-up DJ set at The Cause in London earlier this month, Adam Ten and Mita Gami’s “Lately” remix is a wonderful clubland-dedicated complement to the band’s original. Upbeat with playful percussion, euphoric builds and rhythmic breaks, the pair have rinsed “Lately” with their unique blend of deep house and melodic techno.

Adam Ten and Mita Gami join an elite group of official remixers amongst the RÜFÜS universe, which includes Solomun, Adriatique, Anyma, Adam Port, Carlita and Maxi Meraki, who was recently tapped for “Music is Better Remixed”. Earlier this year, Adam Ten and Mita Gami opened for RÜFÜS DU SOL’s headline DJ set at Coachella’s new Quasar Stage, in addition to performing at the Yuma Tent both weekends.

Lately” served as the follow up to the group’s previous single “Music is Better,” their first new music since their 2021 Grammy-nominated album, Surrender. The release also featured an official music video, filmed in classic black and white and directed by Alex George, portraying the next chapter in the band’s visual storytelling journey, anchored in the sense of world building apparent in every creative aspect of the project.

In the three years since Surrender was released, RÜFÜS DU SOL won a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording in 2022 for lead single “Alive,” were twice-nominated the following year for Best Dance/Electronic Album and earned their fifth ARIA award in Australia. The band circled the globe appearing at festivals across Europe and South America, and brought Surrender to the stages of iconic North American venues like New York’s Forest Hills Stadium, Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl. The band also launched their boutique Sundream Festival, which held its second edition in San José del Cabo in 2023. The group was part of the debut of the new Quasar Stage at Coachella in 2024, showcasing unheard IDs in their DJ set and a preview of what’s to come later in the year.

Adam Ten and Mita Gami’s “Lately” remix arrives ahead of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s only live show this year, headlining Portola Festival in San Francisco on September 28.
