Ryan Doyle embraces the punch of UKG with new single ‘back2me’

In the wake of a 2023 spent as a rising one to watch, and a 2024 that has seen him headline sold-out crowds in London and climb the charts of UK club music, Ryan Doyle now takes a step in a new direction with his single ‘back2me’.

Joining the wave of new UK Garage that is taking the UK scene by storm, Ryan laces his sound with a punch 2-step rhythm. With the top-line melody carried by a choppy female vocal, he balances the old-school nostalgia with a distinctly contemporary synth design. The bass punches out, battling the bounce of the kick drum for supremacy over the low end, swelling up and making its presence known. All the while, the melodic synths span twinkling sparkles, energetic stabs and raw, pulsating counter melodies.

Hypnotic for both the dancefloors of Ibiza and UK warehouses, Ryan wears his influence on his sleeve but is utterly unapologetic about making a unique stamp on the scene. He shares, “‘back2me’ signifies the start of a much dancier/clubbier era for me, I’ve been really inspired by Salute & others in that space & I think it’s really comes across in this track. The new series of artworks are all about my transition into the club space: opening my mind to new sounds and a new future.”
