Sacha Robotti Announces Debut Album ‘I, Robotti’ With New Single ‘Say It’ With Victoria Rawlins via Dirtybird
Sacha Robotti today announces his forthcoming debut album I, Robotti, set to arrive in 2026. The first single ‘Say It’ with Victoria Rawlins is out now as part of the Dirtybird’s 20th anniversary.
Having spent over a decade as one of the label’s frequent flyers, I, Robotti captures the arc of Sacha’s 20-year evolution behind the decks. The album travels from the Berlin basements that bred his underground sound to the California Campouts that informed his irreverent energy. Untethered to one genre, I, Robotti is a kaleidoscopic journey through Tech House, Breakbeat, Indie Dance, Peak Time Techno, Jackin House, and everything in between. It marks a pivotal full-circle moment for the nomadic producer, whose sound continues to shapeshift across time zones and scenes.
The album’s lead single ‘Say It’ sets the tone with a moody intensity. The track swells with dissonant synthwork and punctuated percussion beneath Victoria Rawlins’ raspy spoken word vocals, channeling raw emotion through her hypnotic hook “I’m gonna say it with my body”. Equal parts dancefloor flirtation and underground temptation, ‘Say It’ is an immediate standout that opens the door to I, Robotti.
Berlin-bred nomad Sacha Robotti has cemented his place in the underground dance scene over the past two decades through his solo project, his Slothacid imprint, and as ½ of Third Culture. A staple on Dirtybird’s roster, Sacha has been a consistent face on the label with his Loca Lola EP (2014), Melato Nina EP (2017), and collaborations with Kevin Knapp and Kill Frenzy. Last year, Sacha returned to the label to headline the inaugural edition of ‘Back To Baysics’ at San Francisco’s Embarcadero Plaza and dropped ‘Roll With Me’ with Pershard Owens. ‘Say It’ leads Sacha’s next chapter, one packed with unexpected collaborations and multi-genre mischief.
Victoria Rawlins is a multi-faceted artist, DJ, producer, and the host of Dirtybird Radio. A Los Angeles native, her style sits at the intersection of underground dance music, post-punk subculture and deep psychedelia. Her growing catalog includes collaborations with Sian, WRDO, and Joanna Magik, with releases on Almost Like We Met, Farris Wheel, and Octopus Recordings. With support from artists like Claptone and VNSSA, Rawlins continues to push boundaries while honoring global club culture.
