Sacha Robotti Enlists 90s Legends Felix & Eric D. Clark For New Single ‘Whistle Man’ via Dirtybird

Sacha Robotti today continues the journey of his forthcoming debut album I, Robotti with his latest single ‘Whistle Man’, a dynamic collaboration with dance legends Felix and Eric D. Clark, out now via Dirtybird

With a  shared transatlantic history, ‘Whistle Man’ brings together three generations of dance music lineage into a spirited club cut. Seamlessly fusing old-school influences and forward-thinking production, ‘Whistle Man’ offers a reflective look into the two decade arc of I, Robotti while paying homage to the 90s hits that were foundational in Sacha’s sonic upbringing. Bold and brash, the track fixates on whistled motifs to create dissonance between tense builds, euphoric breaks, and Eric D. Clark’s soulful topline.

The newest addition to I, Robotti expands Sacha’s exploration into dancefloor escapism and the connections that emerge when diverse rhythms, textures, and influences collide. A nod to his teenage years and early foray into electronic music, ‘Whistle Man’ stands as a key sonic milestone in the I, Robotti story and joins earlier singles ‘Manifest’ with SYREETA, ‘All Night’ with Sian and JOPLYN, ‘The Flood’ with Blakkat,  and ‘Say It’ with Victoria Rawlins.

From Berlin to San Francisco and beyond, Sacha Robotti has carved his place in the vanguard of underground dance music. His creativity is boundless, extending from his solo project and Slothacid imprint to his work as ½ of Third Culture. I, Robotti is the culmination of his longstanding creative partnership with Dirtybird, following 2014’s Loca Lola, 2017’s Melato Nina, 2024’s ‘Roll With Me’ and collaborations with Kevin Knapp and Kill Frenzy. He returned to the label in 2024 to headline the inaugural edition of Back To Baysics at San Francisco’s Embarcadero Plaza.

With a career spanning over 30 years, LA-based producer and DJ Felix is best known for his platinum-selling 90s hits ‘Don’t You Want Me’ and ‘It Will Make Me Crazy’. A defining figure in dance music, he has remained a respected force in the underground through projects like The Partycrashers and a steady run of critically acclaimed releases on Armada Music and his own DANCE FX label.

Eric D. Clark is a longtime fixture of international club culture, known for his role in Whirlpool Productions and their era-defining records ‘From Disco to Disco’ and ‘The Cold Song’. A DJ, producer, and vocalist with deep roots in house and disco, his work spans influential solo releases and wide-ranging collaborations across music, art, and fashion. Now based in Berlin, Clark remains a singular voice in dance music, valued for his versatility, longevity, and boundary-free approach.
