Sacha Robotti & Perry Farrell Unite For ‘Words’ via Dirtybird

Sacha Robotti reveals another chapter of his forthcoming debut album I, Robotti with his latest single ‘Words’, a standout collaboration with alternative rock visionary Perry Farrell, out now via Dirtybird. 

Built around Farrell’s evocative refrain, “Sometimes… words get in the way,” the single explores the emotional weight of what remains unspoken. Written by Farrell, ‘Words’ reframes restraint within dance music, where meaning is often carried as much by rhythm and movement as by lyrics. Pairing the raw power and ethereal softness of Farrell’s voice with Robotti’s deep, bass-driven production, ‘Words’ glides between melodic techno and tech house while drawing from his European foundation. The result is a club-ready record that lives both on the dancefloor and beyond it, capturing the nuanced intensity that bubbles throughout I, Robotti.

With a career spanning over three decades, Perry Farrell remains one of modern music’s most boundary-pushing figures. As the former frontman of Jane’s Addiction and the founder of Lollapalooza, he has consistently bridged rock and electronic culture through fearless experimentation. On ‘Words,’ his philosophy resonates clearly: what remains unsaid can often be more powerful than the words themselves.
