Having already snatched up some of dance music’s biggest stars over the years, Armada Music’s publishing department can chalk up another. None other than Dutch electronic music icon Sander van Doorn has signed his voluminous discography to Armada Publishing, including many of his groundbreaking works: ‘Riff’, ‘Ten’, ‘Koko’, ‘Drink to Get Drunk’ and more.
In addition to joining forces on the publishing representation of Sander van Doorn’s catalog, Armada Publishing and Sander van Doorn will also launch Haze Publishing as a fund within Armada Publishing, which will include new Sander van Doorn material plus all new records created under his legendary Purple Haze moniker.
Maykel Piron, CEO Armada Music: “We’ve been long-time admirers of Sander van Doorn’s work and sound, so we’re super happy to have him join our publishing set-up. With Purple Haze Publishing as our joint venture, we’re also welcoming a great new asset to everything we’ve got going on right here.”
Sander van Doorn: “I’m really excited to be working with Armada Music Publishing from now on. It’s great to have new people with a fresh perspective on board and I’m looking forward to work with this hugely talented team. We’ll be coming with some great new projects for sure!”
Michel Peek has recently joined Armada Music to run the day-to-day operations and establishment of Armada Music’s publishing activities. Armada Publishing is administered worldwide by Cloud 9 Music.
