Santorini’s T.Markakis makes a deep splash with “Sensation / A Beautiful Day” on Déepalma Records.

Following his remix of Roni Iron’s ‘Inside My Head’ in March and two solo EPs last year, talented Greek artist T.Markakis returns to Déepalma Records with the captivating two-track ‘Sensation / A Beautiful Day.’

‘Sensation’ opens the release with pumping drum grooves and subtle percussive drive, blending long, sweeping bass notes with an expanding synth lead, silky strings and a spellbinding vocal hook to carve out an uplifting and highly danceable vibe-setter. ‘A Beautiful Day’ shows another side to the T.Markakis production arsenal, delivering a deep, swinging number built around dreamy Rhodes licks, shuffled instrumental swing, punchy drums and a vast resonant low-end. Brought together by another gripping vocal adornment, it’s an undeniably soulful Deep House groover that implores you to move from start to finish.

With over two decades in the industry, T.Markakis is a DJ/producer on the rise, captivating audiences worldwide with his studio creations and performances. Born in Greece in 1986 and now based there, he draws inspiration from his youth in Munich, Germany, infusing his music with soulful, jazzy, and deep house elements. Known for emotionally charged tracks, he has garnered a strong following within the eclectic and melodic side of deep and soulful house music.
