Satori releases latest single ‘The Gin Song’ featuring My Baby

Dutch musician and performer Satori returns to Crosstown Rebels on April 8th with his latest track, ‘The Gin Song’, a remake inspired by ‘Out on Gin’, a track by Dutch band My Baby. The single is the third and final release ahead of the artist’s upcoming album ‘Dreamin Colours’ dropping on the label on April 22nd. A big fan since the original track release in 2013, Satori is thrilled to have the opportunity to work on the remake which culminates in a flawless blend of Satori and My Baby.

‘The Gin Song’ delivers an ethereal soundscape, perfectly combining Satori’s distinctive Eastern European sounds with the ambience of an enticing Ibizan sunset. The track, produced on the White Isle at Sonic Vista Studios, features swaying riffs and gentle drumbeat with the hypnotising vocal of Cato van Dijck from My Baby woven throughout. With summer fast approaching, The Gin Song wraps up Satori’s trio of singles ahead of the album in sublime fashion.

Expertly fusing elements of electronic and live music with every show and production, Satori holds fourteen years of performing across the music scene. 2022 presents a jam-packed tour schedule with key moments including Exit Festival in Serbia, his debut at Fabric London, scheduled performances both weekends at Coachella and residencies at Scorpio’s Mykonos and Chinois Ibiza. Satori – born Djordje Petrovic, to a Serbian father and a South African mother has been greatly influenced by Balkan and Afrobeat rhythms from an early age.
