Production extraordinaire Satour is back this month, adding yet another EP to his mounting discography. The Spanish producer and DJ released his two-track project ‘Luzbel’ on the back of a busy year for the ear-catching talent. ‘Luzbel’ builds on the significant achievements gained throughout the years he has been involved in the business and he’s now showing off a skill-set that’s earning him a reputation as a source of quality and infectious House cuts. Satour has been a resident DJ across his home-nation and has played alongside the likes of: Jimpster, Alton Miller, and Pablo Boliver amongst other leading lights in the House world. With his work being released through numerous principal imprints such as: Justified Cause, Logical, Shoe Bags and Boys, and Dog Music – he’s a producer that’s developed a solid following of those that know quality production work when they hear it.
A tribute to Satour’s family, ‘Luzbel’ is love in sound format. The EP kicks-off with its leading track ‘Luzbel’. Solidly rooted in Deep House territory, it offers an array of unique electronic sounds and feel-good vibes. Driven by a groovy drum beat and a silky synth melody, offering a platform for all the other electronic effects to shine throughout the song – ‘Luzbel’ is typical Satour – cool, melodic and produced to a serious level. Satour devices a clever series of drops and ascensions, which create intricate mood swings throughout the track’s length. His technical capability is displayed through the selection and modifications of sounds, creating a truly distinctive sensation when distorting the synths, which he executes with cleverly placed modulation. ‘Luzbel’ is an ideal portrayal of Satour’s inner state and it is beyond a doubt worth sharing with listeners around the world.
The second offering on this package is ‘I Got Love For You Honey’. The name says it all, once again this track embodies Satour’s mission to spread love to the world via music. The Spaniard offers another stylish Deep House production, this time reserving some vocal acrobatics to offer an elegant close to the project. ‘I Got Love For You Honey’ has some serious groove, building on the feel created in the previous track. The rhythm is driven by an up-beat drum pattern, seasoned with a Latin-inspired conga beat, creating a rhythmic tandem which will get dance-floors packed and shaking to his beats. The synth accompaniment offers a delicate foundation upon which the soulful vocals are given space to stand out. Satour also makes use of several effects to give added colour to the production, filling out just the right amount of gaps to create movement whilst leaving enough room for the song’s key elements to breath.
‘Luzbel’ is being released through Freyja Records. The label derives its name from the goddess of love, beauty and fertility in Norse mythology, thus offering the perfect home for Satour’s love infused production. Freyja Records is on a mission to spread its music to the world, showing the good within people and instil positive energy in anyone who comes in contact with their releases. Satour is definitely standing by this credo and will surely keep spreading positive vibes for years to come.
