Saturday Sessions Present: High Contrast

High Contrast, one of the biggest names in drum & bass, is coming to Ministry of Sound to headline on Saturday 29th November. Support comes from Calyx & TeeBee and Rockwell.

Ministry of Sound continues to mash up the beats at Saturday Sessions following recent bass heavy shows with Sigma and Drum&BassArena. Welsh drum & bass producer Lincoln Barrett, noted for his standout releases on Hospital Records, has become synonymous with providing some of the hardest hitting drum & bass sets known to man. Testament to his eclectic music tastes, High Contrast played a key role in producing music for the 2012 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony. Half a dozen tracks of his were played and included in the event’s official soundtrack Isles of Wonder. The prolific producer and remixer’s recent single release ‘Who’s Loving You’ featuring Clare Maguire was supported by Annie Mac and Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1.

Calyx & TeeBee will be featuring alongside High Contrast, performing their unique take on the d&b experience. Signed to RAM Records in 2012, releasing the album ‘All Or Nothing’ and with past releases on Metalheadz and Hospitality, this duo is another powerhouse behind the driving drum & bass movement.

High Contrast with Wrec MC, Calyx & TeeBee with LX One and Rockwell with MC Mantmast will be in The Box.

103 will host Ed Banger associate Riton, Copy Paste Soul and SYV.
