Following a run of hugely successful releases on his recently formed Scenarios imprint over the past twelve months, Israeli producer Sean Doron now looks to continue his emphatic run of first-rate studio output away from home, as he teams up with hotly-tipped Turkish artist Marc Gonen for the pair’s eagerly awaited debut collaboration, You’re All I Ever Need, via Tel-Aviv-based imprint, Frau Blau
A sublime creation emerging from the meeting of two musical masterminds, You’re All I Ever Need is a genre-transcending record that maintains the element of surprise throughout. Giving us a first-hand insight into their acutely honed crafts, the two producers come together to deliver a vibrant collaboration of impressive proportions. An emotionally charged sonic journey characterized by melancholic chord progressions and an infectious chanting lead – contrasted against thumping kicks and intricate analog detailing – the record already looks set to be a surefire weapon at clubs and festivals alike over the course of 2023.
On remix duties is none other than Berlin-based producer and Applied Magic label boss, Aera, who also lands on Frau Blau for his highly anticipated label debut. Known for his experimental soundscapes and dynamic club-ready atmospheres, Aera’s unique treatment of Sean and Marc’s original is both wonderfully dark and hypnotic, as he rounds off proceedings with a masterful remix to conclude another remarkable EP on Frau Blau.
Sean Doron, Marc Gonen – You’re All I Ever Need (incl. Aera Remix) is out now via Frau Blau.
