Sebastian Ingrosso Announces Exciting Changes For His Label Refune Music Group

Well known and respected for his eclectic label Refune, Sebastian Ingrosso has announced a series of changes to Refune Music Group team in order to carry on the label’s reputable name and further propel them into the future.

Refune Records began in 2003, created by the now former Swedish House Mafia DJ and producer, Sebastian Ingrosso. The label has so far seen 47 strong releases from some of the worlds most prestigious artists such as Steve Angello, Alesso, Otto Knows, Dirty South, Laidback Luke as well as Ingrosso himself. With the success of the label the business grew to include a publishing and management arm with its most notable clients including Alesso and Otto Knows.

The Stockholm based team will now comprise of Stephan Markovitz, who will continue in his position as Director of A&R and New Business Development, with Arvid Frisk working alongside him as A&R Manager after moving from Universal Music Publishing. Emma Engström will take on the role as Management and Label Coordinator, project managing all the labels releases and being the main point of contact for scheduling or artist queries. Refune would also like to welcome Kicki Lenken, who joins as Online and Media assistant and Lisa Lundgren who will take over all things finance!

Overseeing the team as the new Managing Director of Refune Music Group is Dina Mystris. Joining Refune in January 2014 as Commercial Director, Dina’s 10 years of music industry experience across major record labels (Universal / Virgin EMI) has more than prepared her for the role.

“Refune has always been a home for great music and great talent. As part of our commitment to providing our clients with the support they need, we are developing the team in our Swedish office.  It’s a very exciting time for the company and over the coming months there will be a few more additions, and of course there will be more amazing new music!” – Dina Mystris // Managing Director

Already hard at work, the new team look set to carry Refune forward into the next generation of music. Creative, cutting edge music is what you can always count on from Refune Records, and with some big releases already lined up over the next few months including some surprises, the label can look forward to continued success for the future.
