Secret Solstice Festival Expands “72-Hour Sun” Lineup with 30+ New Acts
 
Iceland’s Secret Solstice Festival – known for being the only major music festival on Earth where the sun never fully sets for three days of the event – has expanded its 2015 lineup with a brand new announcement of artists.
 
Topping off the new announcement are The Wailers, the legendary act formed from the remaining members of Bob Marley & The Wailers…

Followed by US soul heavyweight Charles Bradley, Nightmares On Wax, Green Velvet, Miss Kittin, Foreign Beggars, MØ, Mugison, Wankelmut and more, joining acts recently announced, including Erol Alkan, Moodymann, Route 94, Gus Gus, FM Belfast, Retro Stefson, DJ Flugvel Og Geimskip and many more… In total, this brings Secret Solstice’s 2015 lineup to over 65 names…With more to come. 
 

Secret Solstice 2015 – First Major Lineup Announcement
 
Less than 9% of the festival’s limited allocation of discounted 3-day passes are left at 15,900 ISK (approx. £80/$120/€105), and these are expected to sell out quickly with the new lineup additions. Potential festivalgoers are told to snap up passes as soon as possible to beat the price next price rise.
 
For those unfamiliar with the event, Secret Solstice Festival has been dubbed the ‘Midnight Sun’ music festival, due to the event being held over the summer solstice weekend in Reykjavík, Iceland, when the days are longest. In Iceland, this means the sun never fully sets, giving festival attendees a spectacular natural light-show for the duration of the event. And crazy energy alongside it.  Festival attendees to Secret Solstice can also take the chance to experience Iceland’s spectacular tourism locations while in Iceland, including the Golden Circle tour and the world-famous Blue Lagoon.
