Sensation announces theme of new world tour

New Sensation world tour ‘Welcome to the Pleasuredome’ kicks off in Amsterdam

On Saturday the 5th of July The World’s Leading Dance Event Sensation will be hosting the world premiere of its new theme ‘Welcome to the Pleasuredome’ at the Amsterdam ArenA. This show represents the ultimate adult playground and promises to be a culmination of sensations, transporting fans from all over the world into a night of unbridled pleasure and seduction. ´Welcome to the Pleasuredome´ Amsterdam is the kick-off of the international tour that will cover five continents over the next three years. The opening event attracts more than 40,000 dance music lovers from over 75 different countries each year.

Ticket sales for Sensation’s ‘Welcome to the Pleasuredome’ will start on the 29th of March at 10.00 a.m. (CET) through Sensation.com. Travel packages, including a hotel and ticket reservation, can already be booked.

“We’ve taken Sensation to the next level again this year, using the latest technology to create a truly innovative décor with unbelievable special effects. This resulted in the highest stage we’ve ever built. It’s been a huge challenge because, for the first time, we created a show that can turn into an open-air event,’’ says Duncan Stutterheim, co-founder of ID&T.
“‘Welcome to the Pleasuredome’ will be a merry-go-round for the senses”, Stutterheim adds. “The DJs take the audience on a seductive tour through a gigantic playground of boundless sensations and endless discoveries. The combination of light shows, acrobatics, dancers, pyro-artists and the audience will make this an epic night of entertainment and pleasure.” Sensation will announce the line-up for the show mid-March.

Charity partner 10,000 HOURS
Sensation sponsors the charitable foundation 10,000 HOURS. This organization inspires young people around the world to donate their time to help others. The activities of 10,000 HOURS vary from the renovation of playgrounds for intellectually disabled kids, to planting flowers for the elderly in residential care homes.
People can pledge their support in two ways. First, anyone who buys a ticket for the world première of Sensation automatically donates €0.50 to 10,000 HOURS. Sensation doubles this donation to €1,-. Secondly, Sensation and 10,000 HOURS organize a voluntary day on the 31st of May in the vicinity of the Amsterdam ArenA. In return for their help, volunteers receive a free ticket for Sensation. Applications for the voluntary day are open until the 24th of March via www.10000hours.nl.
