Argentinian DJ/Producer Sergio Saffe steps up for his debut on Neverdogs’ respected underground imprint Bamboleo Records with the impressive three-track ‘Covane’ EP. Featuring a trio of chunky house groovers, Sergio’s latest work is flooded with endless danceable flavours and hands-up dancefloor moments from start to finish. The EP opens with the title cut ‘Covane’ riding swinging drum grooves, a raucous bassline melody, haunting vocal chops, and eerie plucks before ‘Santane’ delivers more lively beats and another combination of robust melodic elements with a definitive analogue accent. The release ends with ‘Sustance’ offering some variation with its rolling rhythms and pulsating bass tones, wrapped in endless layers of quirky percussive movement, mind-bending sampling and atmospheric throwdowns.
Sergio Saffe, an Argentine DJ and producer based in Córdoba, brings a dynamic blend of minimal tech house to his La Fábrica and Basement Club residencies. With a career from 2008, his tracks have graced labels like Godeeva Records and Deeperfect, earning support from industry heavyweights like Jamie Jones and Richie Hawtin. He’s shared stages with icons like Marco Carola and Hot Since 82, performing at renowned venues such as Crobar Club and Rio Electronic Music. Sergio’s signature style captivates audiences with its infectious rhythms, creating unforgettable experiences for all who attend.
