Essential Italian Sergio Sergi makes his Moon Harbour debut with fresh new house cut ‘Recondmind.’
Sicily-born Sergio has been making waves for the last decade. His dynamite sounds have landed on plenty of top labels, most recently Rawthentic. They are always diverse as he grew up playing tribal beats, then moved into hip hop before a time in London saw him fall in love with stripped back house and techno. Now also the boss of his own label Growing Beat Records, his first release on Moon Harbour is a standout one.
‘Recondmind’ is an intoxicating Tech House track built on rock-solid kicks. The fat bass adds weight, but it is the twisted vocal sounds and haunting pads that really add the character. Add in some eerie wind sounds and you have a brilliantly unusual mix that really mean this one is like nothing else out there.
