Raffa FL - Sexy EP

Raffa FL drops a pair of heady house tracks on Repopulate Mars with a remix from Dutch producer Franky Rizardo.

Having released on Material, Suara, Avotre and ElRow, Raffa FL’s ability to produce infectious tracks geared for the dancefloor is indisputable. Making regular appearances across various continents, the touring Verona native has graced the likes of the UK, Russia, Mexico, USA, Denmark, Spain, Holland, not to mention his home country Italy. He now releases on Lee Foss’ label Repopulate Mars, joining the likes of Patrick Topping, Mihalis Safras, POPOF, Sonny Fodera, Justin Jay and MK.

Growling bass and a catchy vocal sample form the basis of ‘Sexy’, a crisp and energetic cut featuring suspenseful drum rolls and grand synths. ‘Break It Down’ is moodier by comparison with its pulsating low- end, swinging hats and echoing rim shots that together form a no-nonsense roller. Tying things together, Franky Rizardo’s bouncy reinterpretation of ‘Sexy’ incorporates raw percussive elements and a compelling groove for a high pace finale from the Defected regular.
