For the ninth release on his Kenja Records imprint, Southampton’s Ronnie Spiteri drops a dancefloor-focused piece of house featuring a remix from Reset Robot.
Entering its second year, Kenja Records saw early support from the likes of Groove Armada, Blond:ish, Huxley and DJ Sneak, which is a testament to label founder Ronnie Spiteri’s studio talents as the imprint is foremost a platform for his own productions. Having had the likes of Jordan Peak, Markus Homm and Waifs & Strays provide remixes thus far, the ninth release finds Portsmouth producer Reset Robot make a solid appearance.
Appropriately named ‘Shake A Leg’, Spiteri’s track is designed to get people moving with rumbling bass, crunchy snares and a heady vocal sample. Reset Robot, who’s released on the likes of Nofitstate, Truesoul, Moan and Dogmatik, then steers the track towards techno territories with cavernous kicks and ethereal synths.
Ronnie Spiteri ‘Shake A Leg’ EP drops on Kenja Records on 26th February 2016.
